Client: Columbus-based, specialty apparel retailer
Onsite team responsible for testing the Oracle Retail point-of-service (ORPOS) application customizations as well as testing of internal and external integrated systems.
- Work with business subject matter experts, business analysts, software managers, and developers to ensure proper test case design and execution
- Coordinate all resources and testing performed onsite and offshore
- Responsible for over 100 distinct configurations of hardware and software
- Responsible for international testing of 21 different countries
- Develop custom automated testing framework based on Sirius Automated Testing Framework
- Develop and execute automated and manual test cases
- Create and track defects through resolution
- Test all register hardware devices: register, touch screen, payment/PIN devices, printers, scanners (including RFID)
- Test integrated payment authorization systems
- Test integrated pricing and promotions systems
- Test integrated loyalty systems
- Perform queries of Oracle Retail Central Office (ORCO) and Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) QA databases for data validations
- Update Oracle Retail Central Office (ORCO) QA database with configuration and parameters needed for test execution
